Meet Your Leaders:
Jesse Fadel:
Jesse has been the lead Youth Pastor for 5 years at Eastwind
Well my story begins on May 6th back in 1981. In a small hospital in North Dakota, I was born with the
umbilical cord wrapped around my neck. After 10 minutes of CPR I had not breathed yet. The doctor was
just about to give up but after intense prayer by all who were there I let out a small cry and breathed for the
first time. My parents named me Jesse which means God exists.
I start my story there because my birth illustrates a powerful spiritual truth - see I was born dead. All of us
are born spiritually dead and don’t really breath for the first time unless Christ enters our life. Jesus said
he came so that we could experience life in all its fullness and to do so we need to be “born again”.
Having tasted this new life in Christ, I am confident that God exists indeed and Christ can take us to Him.
I grew up in a Christian home and from a very young age I made it my life’s goal to know God and make
Him known. After graduating High School, I attended Boise State University and became actively involved
in Campus Crusade for Christ. I also served on the worship team at my church, while acting as a student
leader to the Jr. High group. Towards the end of my college career I also started leading with Young Life
and was introduced to the youth program at Eastwind Community Church through a Young Life co-leader
and roommate. I started leading the Eastwind youth program in the spring of 2002 and now serve as the
full-time Youth Pastor.
I currently live in Boise, ID with my beautiful wife, Jenna, and son, Elijah. I enjoy snowboarding, playing
guitar, riding dirt bike, mountain biking, and rock climbing. God is actively involved in guiding and directing
our lives and the ministry at Eastwind Community Church and I am excited to see what the future holds.
Josh Fife:
Josh has been a Jr. High Youth leader at Eastwind for 4 years
Hey yo’s! My name is Josh Fife, I am one of your local IAGT Youth leaders. In the summer of ’05, Jeremy
and I started a little experimental ministry to see where God would take us. After many late, late nights of
planning and praying and working on various aspects of our ministry, we took a step and decided to open
a booth at a local event called Light in the Night. There, we launched our IAGT slogan, which stands for It’s
A God Thing. 3 years later, God has blessed us with the opportunity to be youth leaders here at Eastwind
Community Church. There have been spiritual struggles and times that we didn’t know where God was
leading us, but we have kept strong in our prayers and hopes that God would use us for something, and
He never ceases to amaze us with the kids he brings to our youth group and the outings we get to partake
in. My own faith has grown tremendously through the opportunity to lead these amazing youthers, and
really, only 1 thing can be said about the entire experience: it is definitely a God thing. Come check us out,
or give us a call if you’d be interested in joining us for a Sunday or Wednesday night midweek!
Jeremy Cork:
Jeremy has been a Jr. High Youth leader at Eastwind for 4 years
I moved to Idaho almost 6 years ago and began coming to Eastwind immediately. I have learned so much
about God, and what faith really can do to a person’s life, it’s truly amazing, it’s a miracle. After a few years
of being involved with Eastwind and meeting people there, Josh and I begin to move in our own faith and
get more involved. We both felt lead to be involved with the youth of today. About four years ago God gave
us this opportunity to serve at Eastwind as a Youth Leader. Before I got involved with youth, I felt that the
youth of today were being lead in the wrong direction and needed a new positive influence. After being
involved for 3 years, I’ve a new found passion for what I can offer and what the youth of today need. I
constantly hope that my influence and the experiences I share will open the minds of these kids, to help
them be firm on their morals and their values, and to see that a life without Christ isn’t life at all. I have
learned so much for my personal faith by being involved with Youth. I look forward to it each week, and
hope to find new ways to reach each and every Jr. High and High Schooler that I come across. I am
always willing to share my experiences of my past and how my faith became what it is today, please do
not hesitate to come up and say “hey when you see me, I’d love to say hi to you as well. IAGT
I am recently married to a beautiful redhead. She is a strong Christian women and I am very lucky to have
her by my side as we share our lives with the Youth of today. She is an RN at St. Lukes. I am a huge
sports fan as well as a huge computer nerd (need a spreadsheet made?) I work for Engineering
Consultants Inc, in Boise. I have been attending Eastwind Community Church for almost 6 years, and
have enjoyed meeting all the people God has placed in my path. I know that it is for a reason and I hope to
learn something everyday from what I experience.

Welcome to IAGT Youth!!!
Welcome to IAGT Youth! This site is dedicated to the youth group of Eastwind Community Church. We
hope this site is used to help strengthen faith and relationships for this generation of youth. A
generation who faces nothing like anything faced by generations before. We promote a fun atmosphere
driven by the love of Christ, by involving the youth in weekly group meetings, monthly group outings and
a few major events each year. If you are new to the area or new to Eastwind, and are Jr. High or High
School age, we would LOVE for you to join us!!!
